Users - User Assigned Items

User Assigned Items allows CMS users to assign content, links and assets to a particular web user or a tagged group of web users.
The workspace will show a list of items, each item has three possible actions - 'Edit Assigned Users', 'Edit this Item' and 'Delete this Item'.
  1. Edit Assigned Users: Allows you to manage which Web User or Tags has been assigned to this item.
  2. Edit this Item: Allows you to edit the item details depending on the item type, the options will change.
  3. Delete this Item: Allows you to delete this item.
To add a new item:
  1. Click on ‘Web Users’ from the main tree.
  2. Across the top of the workspace, click on the last tab ‘User Assigned Items’.
  3. Click on the ‘Add New Item’ button depending on the item added, the fields that appear will vary.
    1. Adding a ‘New Asset’
      Item Type - Select the type of item you want to add – ‘New Asset’.
      Item Group - Select the group you wish to add the item to.
      Asset – Click the ‘Add New Asset’ button to browse your files for the asset.
      Asset Selected – The asset selected will appear here.
      Receipt Confirmation – Content entered in this field will alert the user to confirm receipt of the ‘New Asset’
       
    2. Adding a ‘New Link’
      Select the type of item you want to add – ‘New Link’.
      Item Group - Select the group you wish to add the item to.
      Display Title – Enter a display title.
      URL – Add the URL.
       
    3. Adding a ‘New Content Item’
      Item Type - Select the type of item you want to add – ‘New Content Item’.
      Item Group - Select the group you wish to add the item to.
      Display Title – Enter a display title.
      Content – Enter the new content you wish to add here.
  4. Click the ‘Next Step’ button.
  5. The next screen will enable you to select the Web Users or User Tags you want to assign this item to.
  6. Click ‘Save New Item’ or ‘Save & Email Users’ button, if sending an email, the email template can be created and assigned within the settings area.
