
The MOD Warehouse app allows inventory querying, inventory level and location updates, new inventory addition, as well as warehouse pick and pack.
This app can only be used in conjunction with the MOD Desktop POS system and also integrates with Bluetooth scanners. It is available on both iOS and Android.
The app has 3 main functions:
- Product querying
- Adding a new product
- Pick & Pack
Settings

When the app runs for the first time, you will be required to enter the key and service domain. If you do not have this information, please contact MOD Commerce.
You can also later access the settings page from the side menu.
Scanner Is Attached:
Swipe right on this button if you are using a Bluetooth scanner with the MOD Warehouse app.
Service Domain:
Please enter the service domain here (provided by MOD Commerce).
App Key:
Enter your MOD Warehouse app key here (provided by MOD Commerce).
Edit Switches:
Allow the app use various edit functions
Navigation

The icon will appear as three horizontal bars (otherwise known as a hamburger) in the top left corner of the screen.
Pressing on the icon will open the navigation on the left-hand side of the screen.
Navigation Options

The options are
- Products - search for products, and new product, update stock levels, manage eBay and Amazon data, upload images.
- Orders - pick and pack orders ready for dispatch.
- Settings - manage the settings for the app.
Products
If you have a Bluetooth scanner attached (and have set Scanner Is Attached to true), click the scan button to scan any barcode. If a corresponding barcode is found, you will be taken straight to the product.
If you do not have a Bluetooth scanner attached, you can enter either the SKU or part of the title to search for the product required. Some scanner models will also let you interact with the text box. Consult your scanner's instructions for more details.
Product List

If more than one product is returned from your query, the list will be displayed for you to choose from.
If only one product is found, you will be taken straight to the product page.
At any stage, if you want to return to the home screen, press the arrow in the top left-hand corner.
Product Page

From the product page you will be able to view more in-depth details about the product. You will also be able to perform the following actions -
- Edit Stock Level (edits the current master stock level for the product)
- Edit Bin Location/Barcode
- Edit Website Details (edit costs & shows the product as live)
- Edit ebay and Amazon Details (edit costs & shows the product as live)
- Upload and delete Images
Adding a new product

You can select Add New Product from the products page. This will open the form for adding a new product to the CMS.
Fill in all required fields and submit the form. The product should now appear in your CMS.
Please note: to generate a barcode, please enter 'gen' into the barcode text field.
Orders

The dispatch area works in conjunction with the MOD Desktop POS system. Navigate to the dispatch area on your POS Desktop and you will see a list of orders. The right column shows the status of the order. Once the status is green (DIS) you are then able to add delivery tracking information and print delivery notes.
Statuses:
- ORP – Order Ready for Picking (Order is complete and ready for picking).
- PIP – Pick in Process (The scanner has started the pick process).
- DIS – Dispatch Enabled (The scanner has completed the pick process).
On the scanner app click on Pick & Pack, you then have three options:
- New Orders (Displays any new orders awaiting pick and pack).
- Part Orders (Displays any orders which have been part picked with outstanding order items).
Picked Today (Displays orders picked in the last 24 hours, allows orders to be modified if required).
Processing an order
- Click on 'New Orders'.
- A list of orders ready for picking will be displayed.
- Click on one of the orders.
- A list of order items will be displayed.
- Click on an item or scan a product barcode.
- Details of the order item will be displayed, including the warehouse location and the order qty.
- Enter the quantity picked and submit the form.
Once you have picked all the items for this dispatch (does not need to be the complete order), click on the Complete Pick Process button. This will submit the items picked as ready for dispatch.- The order can now be processed within the Desktop POS, adding tracking info and printing delivery notes.
