Uploading products is as easy as populating a CSV file and uploading it to the Product Manager Desktop Application. This function makes it easier for businesses to expand their product lines and seamlessly add new products as they are developed.
How to Upload New Products
- Download CSV Template by clicking on the “Download CSV Template” button.
- Populate the CSV file without changing column names.
- Select and copy all data in the CSV file
- Click “Paste Data Sheet” button.
- Confirm the uploaded data is correct.
- Click “Process Data” button.
Active: Whether the product listing is live to the POS system?
Available Date: This provides users with information on the date that the product is available for purchase.
Barcode: This is the unique barcode that matches each product. Providing this information to the Product Manager System will help ensure all platforms are working together and stock levels are accurate.
Buying Cost: Here, users can see the cost that they have bought each product. This is useful when determining the markup percentage and to see the profits that will be made on each product.
Manufacture Name: Provides information on the manufacturer and brand of the product.
Product Depth: Provides information on the depth of the product in centimeters.
Product Height: Provides information on the height of the product in centimeters.
Product Weight: Provides information on the weight of the product in grams.
Product Width: Provides information on the width of the product in centimeters.
RRP Cost: Recommended retail price is the suggested retail price of the product and provides comparison on the average market price of your product to your selling price.
Selling Cost: Is the price that the product will be sold at to customer.
Selling Offer Cost:
Short Description: This provides a short description of the product. This gives customers greater insight into the capabilities of the product.
SKU: SKU is a code that identifies each individual product. Each code is unique and matches to one product only. You can search for a product by using the SKU code in the ‘SKU Filter’ found in the left top hand corner of the page. If you are using your own SKU’s we advise using the following format,
Stock Level: Provides accurate information on your total inventory levels for each product. This can be updated by click on “Edit Details”.
Tax Exclusive: Provides information as to whether tax is included or excluded in the final price.
Title: This is the name of the product that is displayed on the website and the searchable text when searching a product with in the POS system.
Variation One: Provides information on different variations of the product. This may be colour, size, style, gender specific, etc.
Variation One Label: Provides a title for the variation of the product. For example, size or colour.
Variation Two: Provides information on different variations of the product. This may be colour, size, style, gender specific, etc.
Variation Two Label: Provides a title for the variation of the product. For example, size or colour.
All of this information can be include when populating the CSV file or can be included after upload by clicking on the “Edit Details” found in the “Manage Current Product Data” Page.
