Adding Mobile App Content

Content can be assigned to navigation in two different ways:
 
Assigning content within 'Mobile Apps'
  1. Navigate to 'Mobile Apps'
  2. Select the app you would like to edit from the tree.
  3. Select the tab 'Mobile Navigation/Assigned Items'.
  4. Select the option 'Select New Items to Assign' from the drop down list on the relevant navigation item, this will open the fly out tree on the left pane.
  5. Find the page you would like to assign and left click it, this will open the editing options.
    1. Set as Feature - Will remove the current feature item for the channel and set this one as the feature.
    2. Mobile Publish Date - The date you would like to show the content on the app, also content is orders by this date.
    3. Push Alert Date - To send a 'Article Push Alert' enter a date and time that the push alert is sent.
    4. Push Alert Content - Enter the content for the push alert.
    5. Save Item.
    6. Alerts are then scheduled and placed in the 'Push Alerts' tab.
    7. To delete a scheduled push alert, navigate to the 'Push Alerts' tab, and use the drop down actions to delete.
    8. If you wish to setup multiple notifications at different dates or times for the same article, just check out the article again and complete steps 5.1 to 5.5.
 
Assigning content within an article 
  1. Navigate to Websites
  2. Select the website and page you would like to edit from the tree.
  3. If you have permission, you will see the tab 'Mobile App' after the Multisite tab.
  4. Checkout the page.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    1. Assigned App - Select the app to assign this article.
    2. Assigned Navigation - Select the navigation the article will appear.
    3. Pin to Home - if checked the article will appear on the home page of the app.
    4. Mobile Publish Date - The date you would like to show the content on the app, also content is orders by this date.
    5. Push Alert Date - To send a 'Article Push Alert' enter a date and time that the push alert is sent.
    6. Push Alert Content - Enter the content for the push alert.
    7. Check in Article 
    8. Alerts are then scheduled and placed in the 'Push Alerts' tab.
    9. To delete a scheduled push alert, navigate to the 'Push Alerts' tab, and use the drop down actions to delete.
    10. If you wish to setup multiple notifications at different dates or times for the same article, just check out the article again and complete steps 5.1 to 5.7.
