Sending Mobile App Push Notifications

MOD CMS - Content Management > Mobile Apps
Notifications can be generated in two different ways
 
Notifications Assigned to an Article
This type of notification will open the app to a specific article when the notification is clicked.
Please see 'Adding Content' to generate this type of notification.
 
General Notifications
This type of notification will open the app to the home page.
  1. Navigate to 'Mobile Apps'
  2. Select the app you would like to edit from the tree.
  3. Select the tab 'Push Alerts'
  4. Click 'New Push Alert'
  5. Complete the following fields:
    1. Push Alert Date - Enter a date and time that the push alert is sent.
    2. Push Alert Content - Enter the content for the push alert.
    3. Click 'Save Push Alert'.
    4. Alerts are then scheduled and placed in the 'Push Alerts' tab.
    5. To delete a scheduled push alert, navigate to the 'Push Alerts' tab, and use the drop down actions to delete.
